If the bank confirms that the transaction is genuine, it sends authorization numbers back to the brand to assuring them that they can make purchase on behalf of the credit owner. The processor will then receive the authorization number from the card’s brand. The system confirms the payment after receiving the authorization numbers from the processor. A receipt is then given to the customer and they can take their credit card and walk away with any good they had purchased.
